Flower Carpet Roses

Rosa FLOWER CARPET YELLOW (syn. ‘Noalesa’) (‘Immensee’ x unnamed seedling) – This groundcover rose has semi-double (2-2.5″ wide) blooms of a rich yellow that mature to a pale butter colour and flower from spring to late autumn. It is self-cleaning and should be pruned back by one third in late winter or early spring. Grows 3′ high by 2′ wide. Hardy to zone 5.

Rosa FLOWER CARPET RED (syn. ‘Noare’) (‘Ricarda’ x unnamed seedling) – Developed by German breeders Noack Rosen, this carpet rose features single blooms of a deep carmine with contrasting yellow stamens. The new foliage emerges with a tinge of red and matures as glossy deep green leaves with burgundy edging. Grows 24-32″ high by 48″ wide. Hardy to zone 5.

Rosa FLOWER CARPET WHITE (syn. ‘Noaschnee’) (‘Immensee’ x ‘Margaret Merrill’) – This is one of the most disease resistant white roses on the market with 2.5″ wide  blooms that last for 2-3 days and don’t fade in the sun. This carpet rose has a sweet fragrance and self-cleans, so the petals simply fall to the ground like snow. Grows 24″ high by 36″ wide. Hardy to zone 5.

Rosa FLOWER CARPET AMBER (syn. ‘NOA97400A’) – Part of the next generation of carpet roses with improved tolerance to both heat and humidity. It features 2.5″ wide blooms of a bright orange-yellow that fade to a peachy-pink. These are borne in clusters of 3 to 5 open flowers with light fragrance. Glossy dark green foliage. Grows 28-36″ high by 36″ wide. Zone 5.

Rosa FLOWER CARPET APPLEBLOSSOM (syn. ‘Noamel’) – This sport of FLOWER CARPET PINK features pale apple blossom pink blooms held in 6-8″ wide clusters of about 18 flowers. A mature plant is capable of producing upwards of 2000 individual flowers over the course of a single growing season. Disease resistant. Grows 24-32″ high by 40″ wide. Hardy to zone 5.
