Heuchera & Heucherella

Heuchera ‘Shanghai’ – A dramatic new introduction with deep plum-purple leaves generously overlaid in silver. This variety also holds up well through cold winter weather and it bears white summer flowers on dark purple stems. Part to full sun. Grows 10″ tall by 12″ wide. Hardy to zone 4.

Heucherella x ‘Sweet Tea’ – The massive maple-like leaves on this H. villosa x Tiarella hybrid are a stunning apricot-orange with burgundy veining, shifting to a dark cinnamon in winter. A great choice for planters, it bears fluffy white flowers just above the foliage in June and July. Part to full shade. Grows 20″ tall by 28″ wide. Hardy to zone 4

Heuchera ‘Topaz Jazz’ – A real eye-catcher with gold to lime green foliage, overlaid with silvery-white veining. The unusual yellowish-green flowers are borne on contrasting burgundy stems that nicely compliment the leaves. Part to full shade. Grows 9″ tall by 12″ wide. Hardy to zone 4.

Heucheralla x ‘Alabama Sunrise’ – This constantly changing perennial bears gold leaves with burgundy veining from spring to summer, shifts to green in fall and finishes-up an orange-pink in winter. Evergreen in mild climates and a great choice as a container accent. Part to full shade. Grows 12″ tall by 20″ wide. Hardy to zone 4.

Heuchera ‘Silver Gumdrop’ – A Proven Winner introduction that really lives up to its name with intensely silver leaves with prominent burgundy veining. These are complimented by spikes of bright pink flowers in midsummer on a compact plant. Part shade. Grows 8″ tall by 14″ wide. Hardy to zone 4.
