Sutera cordata SNOWSTORM BLUE – A twist on the traditional white Bacopa with single lavender-blue five-petaled flowers with contrasting deep yellow eyes. This Proven Winners selection will drop its flowers when drought stressed (without the foliage wilting), so keep evenly moist for a consistent display of blooms. Grows 4 to 8″ high by 36″ long. Diascia x LITTLE CHARMER (syn. ‘Heccharm’) – This Twinspur is another Proven Winners selection which makes a good compact filler plant to add a little contrast next to those vigorous trailing annuals. It bears masses of mid pink flowers with darker centers (and a hint of a yellow eye) that bloom right up to the hard frosts. Grows 6 to 12″ high by 12-18″ long. Hardy to zone 8.
Bidens ‘Goldilocks’ – This ‘Tried and True’ variety has the perfect combination of rich green fern-like foliage (that blends well with adjacent plants) and bright yellow starry blooms that last from spring to the first hard frosts. Nemesia fruticans SUNSATIA RASPBERRY (syn. ‘Inuprasp’) – An easy to grow summer flower with self-cleaning blooms (held on short stems) of raspberry-pink with a contrasting golden-yellow center. Schizanthus pinnatus ‘Angel Wings’ (syn. S. x wisetonensis) – The Poor Man’s Orchid or Butterfly Flower is native of Chile and features eye-catching blooms that cusp the edge of basket and last from late spring to early fall. ‘Angel Wings’ comes in mixed colours of purple, scarlet, light pink and rose all with yellow throats and a darker eye zone. Grows 12-18″ high by 9-12″ wide. Annual.
